SHERIDAN’S New Jersey Electrical Contractor’s Alarm Systems Review
FROM THE PUBLISHER:
This review book provides the student with a comprehensive study guide that walks the working electrician through the NFPA 72 fire alarm code and provides a basic review of surveillance and security systems. It will assist in preparing the student for the Alarm System portion of the New Jersey electrical contractors licensing examination. The New Jersey Electrical Contractor’s Alarm Systems Review is a supplement to the NFPA 72 code manual that contains the minimum requirements associated with the installation, testing and maintenance of fire alarm systems. However, NFPA 72 does not provide any review questions, worked out examples or student practice tests. This is where SHERIDAN’S New Jersey Electrical Contractor’s Alarm Systems Review fills in. In addition, this study guide provides a comprehensive review of surveillance and security systems and their associated components.
This study guide is divided into fourteen chapters covering basic electrical theory, NEC Fire Alarm codes, NFPA72 Fire Alarm code and Surveillance and Security Systems. Each chapter will provide a series of review questions on each section along with supplementary notes that highlight or expand on specific topics. Detailed answers with references back to the NFPA 70 / 72 are provided. In addition, this study guide also provides two student practice exams for the Alarm Systems exam along with detailed answers and references.
