Certified Clinical Transplant Nurse (CCTN®)

This SAE was developed for candidates seeking certification after July 1, 2022.

The CCTN^® Self-Assessment Examination (SAE) is a 50-question online practice examination that was developed to be parallel in content and difficulty to the actual clinical transplant nurse certification examination. The examination conforms to the specifications of the CCTN^® by one-half. The practice exam is 50 questions while the actual CCTN^® exam is 150 questions. It is still intended to reflect the knowledge level required of a clinical transplant nurse.

The SAE should be regarded as an assessment tool to measure strengths and weaknesses, rather than a study guide for the examination. A passing score on the SAE will not in any way guarantee a passing score on the certification examination.

Once purchased, the SAE will be active for a period of 60 days in which you may exit and return to the examination as many times as needed. However, once you finish and score the examination, you cannot retake it. Upon completion, you will be able to view your results on-screen and receive a copy of your reports via the email address you provided.
